Behavior Aide

The behavior aide will work one-On-One with an assigned student to meet goals outlined in their individualized education plan (Iep), providing customized behavior support and teaching life skills. Responsibilities include implementing behavior support plans, recording data, utilizing intervention strategies, and ensuring student safety through de-Escalation or restraint when necessary.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs is preferred. The role requires physical capabilities such as running, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds, along with the capacity to remain calm during demanding situations.
