Autism Day Program Assistant (Full-Time)

The assistant will support children aged 2-6 with varying functioning levels across the autism spectrum to achieve greater independence and school readiness through individualized care, learning, and play. Responsibilities include collaborating with therapists, following care plans, maintaining a safe environment, assisting with daily needs like feeding and diapering, and promoting communication and social-Emotional development.

A two-Year degree in human services or education is preferred, along with experience working with children with special healthcare needs. Candidates must pass extensive background checks, a physical examination, be able to lift up to 35 lbs, and maintain a calm demeanor while effectively communicating in english.
