Medical Childcare Assistant (Full-Time)

The assistant will support children and young adults in developing independence by providing care and treatment according to individualized plans, which includes nursing, therapy, and behavior support within their scope of practice. They must also create a safe, therapeutic environment and maintain accurate documentation while communicating effectively with the care team and families.

Preferred qualifications include a two-Year degree in human services or education, or actively pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree, with therapy-Related majors encouraged. Candidates must pass extensive background checks, including iowa dci and national fbi checks, and must be able to communicate effectively in english.
