Long Term Sub SLPA

The primary responsibilities involve providing direct and/Or consultative speech-Language services to elementary and middle school students according to their individualized education program (Iep) goals, which includes collecting data and maintaining service logs. The role also requires collaborating with colleagues, engaging in team meetings, and assisting with the adaptation of materials for students with communication needs.

Candidates must possess an associate degree in speech-Language pathology or equivalent coursework, training, and experience, and must be supervised by a certified speech-Language pathologist. Strong candidates should have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and prior experience working in a school setting, especially with low-Incident populations, is encouraged.
