RN Clinical Adjunct Instructor-Pediatrics/OB (Casual), West Penn School of Nursing

This adjunct faculty role involves clinical instruction of nursing students, exploring innovative teaching strategies on the clinical unit, and documenting student progress in relation to course objectives. The instructor is also responsible for promoting patient safety initiatives and participating in quality initiatives within the department.

Candidates must possess a minimum of a master’s degree in nursing (Or obtain one within five years of hire) and hold current pennsylvania rn licensure or multi-State licensure via enlc. Two years of direct clinical experience in the specialty area may be required, along with mandatory criminal background and child abuse clearances.
