Paraprofessional-Afterschool Program-Jackson

The paraprofessional will implement engaging academic enrichment activities for students in grades 3-5 at the reaching higher afterschool program, assisting with homework and individualized tutoring. Duties also include managing students safely, serving as a mentor, cultivating positive relationships, and ensuring compliance with licensing rules.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and demonstrate knowledge of youth, along with a minimum of two years of experience working with youth in a structured program setting. Applicants must also exhibit good character, health, emotional stability, maturity, and strength to perform assigned duties.
