Teacher, Great Plains Family YMCA

The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans addressing the cognitive, emotional, and social needs of children aged birth through six, while ensuring a safe and secure environment. This role also involves directing classroom assistants, maintaining positive family communication, and documenting student developmental outcomes.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma, be at least 18 years old, and have a minimum of 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare program, along with excellent organizational skills. Required certifications include infant/Child and adult cpr and first aid, and the ability to lift 50 pounds is necessary.
