Summer Day Camp Counselor, Great Plains Family YMCA

Counselors are responsible for establishing positive relationships with children, parents, and staff while developing and leading weekly activities for a group of 12 children. Key duties include ensuring the safety and well-Being of all children, managing attendance, distributing snacks, and maintaining camp cleanliness.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old, have an interest in and like children, and support the ymca philosophy. Required certifications include cpr, aed, o2, and first aid, though training may be provided by the y.
