Sports Official, Rankin YMCA

The official will ensure a quality program by monitoring facilities, maintaining equipment, and acting as a liaison for coaches and participants regarding program concerns. Duties include arriving early, enforcing rules courteously, maintaining a safe environment, and ensuring the ymca pledge is recited before games.

Candidates must maintain current cpr/Aed/O2 and first aid certifications, complete required officials training, and understand the ymca mission in sports. Essential abilities include excellent communication, the capacity to stand or walk for long periods, and the physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
