Elementary Special Education Teacher

The teacher is responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment, providing instruction, support, and guidance focused on students’ individual needs as defined by their individualized education program (Iep). Essential functions include developing compliant ieps, leading special education meetings, ensuring accommodations are provided, and actively working with students and parents to advance learning.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, an active state special education teaching license, six months of student teaching experience, and the ability to clear required background checks. Candidates should also be prepared to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week, and potentially travel up to 20% of the time.
