Core responsibilities
The specialist will provide direct, developmentally appropriate early intervention services to infants and toddlers (Birth to 3) with or at risk for delays in home and community settings. Responsibilities include participating in multidisciplinary assessments, developing individual family service plans (Ifsps), and acting as a service coordinator for the family.
Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field like early childhood education or child development is required, along with at least 300 hours of practicum or work experience with young children, and proficiency in american sign language (Asl). Candidates must also possess excellent communication skills, reliable transportation, and knowledge of early childhood development best practices.
