Early Intervention Specialist – Low Vision/Blindness

The early intervention specialist provides specialized support services to infants and toddlers (Ages 0–3) with visual impairments and their families, focusing on promoting development and maximizing functional vision and orientation/Mobility skills in natural settings. Key duties include conducting assessments, developing and implementing ifsps, providing direct intervention services, coaching parents, monitoring progress, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field like special education or early childhood education, with preference for tvi or coms certification. Required qualifications include knowledge of child development and visual impairments, experience working with infants/Toddlers in home-Based settings is preferred, and possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
