Academic Apprentice Coach - Wardlaw School

The academic apprentice coach supports instructional excellence by mentoring teachers and promoting research-Based practices for students with dyslexia, focusing on building teacher capacity in reading and math instruction through coaching cycles and direct support. This role also requires direct teaching responsibilities, specifically leading one reading group to maintain strong structured literacy techniques.

Candidates must possess a strong foundation in dyslexia and language-Based learning disabilities, including certification in at least one multisensory reading instruction method and familiarity with math approaches. A bachelor's degree is required, with a master's preferred, alongside experience teaching elementary students (K-5), preferably in dyslexia-Focused settings.
