Medical Assisting Instructor

The primary responsibility is to teach medical assisting courses within the medical assisting program. The faculty member will also be expected to provide academic advising to students and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.

Applicants must have completed an accredited medical assisting program resulting in a certificate or diploma, hold an associate degree (Preferably in medical assisting or a similar field), and possess at least three years of clinical experience as a medical assistant. Certification as ccma, cma, and/Or rma is also required.
