Patient Care Technician Preceptor

The patient care technician preceptor functions as part of the dialysis healthcare team, providing safe and effective dialysis therapy under nurse supervision, including machine setup, operation, and patient monitoring. This role also involves significant staff-Related duties, such as assisting with recruitment, clinical orientation, ongoing training, and functioning as a preceptor for new direct patient care personnel.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and must hold a valid pct national or state-Specific certification as defined by cms. A minimum of five years of patient care experience in a hospital or related facility is preferred, and continued employment depends on successful completion of dialysis training and cpr certification.
