Special Education Paraprofessional (Satellite Program)

The paraprofessional assists certified teachers by providing instructional and emotional support to students with multiple disabilities in small group or one-To-One settings. Responsibilities include implementing intervention programs, collecting data, and assisting students with daily living activities and physical mobility.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma, with an associate degree or two years of college preferred. The role requires the physical ability to lift, reposition students, and manage various medical and personal care needs.
