Summary
The Trainer and Foster Care Recruiter will be responsible for ensuring a continuing pool of prospective and well-trained applicants for foster care licensure. The position will be the first point of contact for the Foster Care program and must always exemplify the philosophy and mission of the program.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in social work, Family Studies, Psychology, Child Development, or related field.
- Minimum two years of experience in child welfare or human services, specifically monitoring and licensing foster homes.
- Previous experience in writing home studies and assessments of family systems.
- Excel in the area of time management, organization, and meeting deadlines.
- Experience working with kinship families.
- Bilingual Preferred.
Associate degree in child welfare related studies.
- Minimum two years of experience in child welfare or human services, specifically monitoring and licensing foster homes.
- Previous experience in writing home studies and assessments of family systems.
- Excel in the area of time management, organization, and meeting deadlines.
- Certified PS-MAPP Trainer and PS-DT Trainer.
- Experience working with kinship families.
Other Potential Requirements: Bilingual (Spanish/English) is helpful
Availability to work evening hours
Ability to participate in play/recreational activities
Fingerprint clearance if working with children or in a 24 hour facility.
