The Medication Nursing Assistant is responsible for administering medications to students under the supervision of an RN or LPN and maintaining accurate medication records. They must also ensure the medication room is organized, report any errors or side effects, and communicate effectively with guardians.

Administer medications to stable students under RN or LPN supervision Document medications accurately on the Medication Administration Record (MAR) Maintain a clean, organized medication room and cart Report any medication errors or unexpected effects Monitor and reorder medication supplies Communicate with parents/guardians regarding medication needs Adhere to infection control and safety protocols Continuously update your knowledge with 20 hours of CEUs bi-annually
