YMCA Alexandria - Lead Teacher

The lead teacher is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate classroom activities that support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of children. They must also ensure a safe, engaging environment while communicating effectively with families and colleagues.

Candidates must hold a cda, aa, ba, or bs in early childhood education or a related field and possess at least three years of experience working with children. Additionally, current cpr and first aid certifications are required, along with the ability to meet state licensing and background check standards.
