We are looking for teachers that have a strong focus in teaching mathematics courses of all levels up to and including AP. Preference towards applicants that have a desire or experience to work with students that benefit from smaller class sizes, or have a flexible mindset when it comes to lessons accommodating gaps in student knowledge. Responsibilities ● Create a classroom culture of high achievement and student ownership of learning that helps foster students’ intellectual, social, and emotional development ● Provide daily instruction, including clear learning outcomes, well-designed lessons ,and high-quality assessments aligned with ESHS curriculum and standards ● Implement best practices in data-driven instruction, including inquiry and hands-on activities, demonstrations, lectures, and discussions ● Communicate regularly with families to identify students’ talents, interests, and needs and update families regarding students’ achievements and progress ● Collaborate with staff and the Elizabeth Seton High School community in staff meetings, regular analysis sessions, and professional learning designed to enhance students' learning experience and increase student achievement ● Act as a mentor and promote teamwork among students ● Differentiate instruction to reach all learners ● Identify the special needs of students and seek additional support, as needed ● Maintain and submit necessary records, progress reports, and grade reports ● Adhere to the professional and ethical standards as outlined in the ESHS Employee Handbook ●
