The classroom aide provides 1

1 supervision and support for an assigned student throughout the school day, facilitating participation in learning and leisure activities. They also assist with activities of daily living and implement behavior support plans as needed.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged with at least one year of related experience, with higher degrees preferred. A valid new york driver's license and the ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, and bending are required.
