Position Purpose We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Early Head Start (EHS) Teacher to join our team and make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families.
In this role, you will nurture the social, emotional, intellectual, language, and physical development of children from infancy to three years old in a safe, inclusive, and supportive educational environment.
You will work closely with families to build strong partnerships, helping them set and achieve meaningful goals for their child's development and school readiness.

Key Responsibilities Child-Centered Learning Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities tailored to the needs of infants and toddlers using research-based practices.
Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and promotes curiosity, exploration, and learning.
Conduct regular observations and assessments to document each child's growth and adjust strategies as needed.
Family and Community Engagement Build strong, collaborative relationships with families, involving them in all aspects of their child's development and education.
Work with parents to identify long- and short-term goals for their children, offering resources and support to achieve them.
Communicate regularly with families about their child's progress, providing guidance and encouragement.
Health and Safety Ensure a clean, safe, and organized learning environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
Respond to the needs of infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting, in a nurturing and respectful manner.
Follow emergency preparedness and safety protocols.
Professional Growth and Collaboration Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Collaborate with colleagues and program staff to ensure cohesive support for children and families.
Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a positive attitude in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Minium Qualifications We welcome diverse candidates who meet the following criteria: Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field, or Current National, or Texas based CDA (Infant), or A minimum of 18 credits in Early Childhood Education/Child Development AND must be willing and able to obtain a CDA within 6 months of hire.
Positive, motivating, and energetic personality with a passion for working with young children.
Ability to become certified in Pediatric CPR and First Aid within 30 days of employment.
Ability to pass all criminal history background checks.
Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are a plus but not required.
