Special Education Teacher, Behavior Support Teacher

Coordinates and provides direct instructional programs for special education students while developing and implementing individual education programs (Ieps). Monitors student behavior, maintains classroom discipline, and uses diagnostic assessment data to adjust instructional strategies.

Requires a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area. Candidates must also possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and demonstrate knowledge of federal and state special education policies.
