Instructional Assistant - Special Education, Extended Content Standards I

Provides instructional support to special education students by assisting teachers with iep implementation, behavioral intervention plans, and classroom activities. Facilitates student transitions and provides necessary personal care and mobility assistance to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requires a high school diploma or ged, with progress toward an associate's degree or cda credential, or meeting essa requirements. Candidates must hold or be willing to obtain crisis prevention and intervention (Cpi) certification.
