The employment specialist assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in preparing for, obtaining, and maintaining competitive community-Based employment. They facilitate job readiness programs, conduct vocational assessments, and provide ongoing support to both the individuals and their employers.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold either a master's degree with one year of experience or a bachelor's degree with three years of experience in employment services. A valid new york state driver's license is also required.
