• Responsibilities: Evaluate children's functional abilities and daily living skills. Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to promote children's participation in activities of daily living. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to integrate therapeutic strategies into the children's routines. Monitor and document progress towards goals, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate and empower family members and other caregivers to support the child’s development and participation in natural environments. Manage scheduling and caseload based on personal availability and capacity.

Qualifications

Valid NYS license as an Occupational Therapist. Experience in pediatric occupational therapy or early intervention preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse families and team members. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
