Job description
- Supported I/DD Employment Specialist Full Time, Flexible Schedule (days, evenings and weekends) Hybrid Position (mobile / remote) KenCrest is seeking a Supported I/DD Employment Specialist to support our Employment Program and its Leadership Team.
- Our Employment Department works to create a streamlined process to assist our consumers every step of the way as they navigate through the progression of finding and maintaining gainful employment.
- This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated and able to work one-on-one with individuals with disabilities, interested in a mobile and independent position, has experience with Self-Employment/Entrepreneurship or systematic Instruction and/or teaching.
- As our Supported I/DD Employment Specialist, you will provide on-the-job training for your consumers, build positive professional relationships with community employers, develop relationships with individuals served to identify strengths that can contribute to their overall success, and encourage personal choice and decision making.

Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field, preferred Experience working with the I/DD population, preferred ACRE Certification, preferred [otherwise completion is required within six (6) months of hire] Valid driver’s license **Must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience; License, Registration, and Insurance must match candidate's State of permanent residency.*
