Mount Aloysius College, repeatedly recognized by ModernThink as a “Great College to Work For,” seeks a highly skilled and organized individual to serve as the Administrative Coordinator for Nursing, Surgical Technology, and Medical Imaging programs, beginning August 2026/Fall 2026 in DuBois, PA.
Current Opening
The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for a variety of high-level clerical and administrative duties to support the Nursing, Surg-Tech, and Medical Imaging teams in DuBois and to ensure consistent and efficient operations in all DuBois programs.
This role requires significant coordination responsibilities and the ability to accurately track and organize a variety of data for compliance and reporting purposes using Excel and/or Google Sheets. Also prepares signature-ready letters, revises handbooks and other procedural documents as assigned.
The Administrative Coordinator communicates and corresponds regularly with clinical sites and agency partners. Also assists with planning and coordination of special events and programs. Maintains confidential files across all DuBois programs, including management of demographic information and ensures that all required student and faculty documentation/licensure is current and accurately filed.
This position also assists with departmental website updates, gathers and organizes documentation for the academic appeals process, directs callers and visitors as appropriate, schedules meetings, and disseminates mail. Also responsible to enter budget requests, submit purchase requisitions, and place supply orders. May interview prospective work-study students, and provide supervision to assigned students.
This is a full-time, year-round, benefit-eligible position. While some flexibility in scheduling exists, this position is on campus in DuBois, PA (5 days per week required), and is not eligible for remote work.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience in executive or high-level administrative support roles required. Previous experience working in a secondary or post-secondary education setting is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Above average verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills required; Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and AdobeSign required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel desired.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, maintain attention to detail orientation, and excel in a fast-paced, high volume office with little to no supervision is required.
- The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively with others and exercise independent thinking.
- Should be able to foresee risks and anticipate needs, and make sound decisions.
- Ability to quickly and efficiently learn software that is highly utilized within the Higher Education space required.
- High degree of professionalism and a demonstrated ability to maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality is required.
