Job description

At The Staff Pad, we’re proud to partner with a respected non-profit healthcare system in beautiful Helena, MT, to hire a caring and reliable Early Childhood Lead Teacher for the Toddler Room who is excited to create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment for children ages 19 months - 3 years. This is an organization known for compassionate care, strong community values, and a commitment to being Montana’s gold standard in healthcare. What You'll Do Supervise toddlers (19 months–3 years) in a safe, nurturing environment Plan and lead age-appropriate activities and learning experiences Provide constant supervision during play, meals, naps, and transitions Support, mentor & collaborate with Assistant Teachers, trainees, and support staff Guide positive behavior, encourage exploration, problem-solving, cooperation, & social development Prepare classroom materials and environments to support curriculum Assess individual and group needs, strengths, and interests Monitor and report suspected child abuse Attend required trainings, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development Share classroom cleaning and sanitizing responsibilities Maintain compliance with State Licensing, Health Department, and Fire Marshal standards What We Are Looking For
