Requires a Bachelor's degree in Health Education or a related field, with a graduate degree strongly preferred. Candidates must have demonstrated experience teaching health and wellness at the elementary, middle, or secondary levels.

As the architect of belonging, the Health & Wellness Educator will foster healthy, productive conversations about social-emotional skill-building and create meaningful opportunities for those conversations to take root across our school community. Grounded in the belief that social and emotional well-being is inseparable from academic success, this role supports students through their K–12 years by promoting holistic well-being, personal growth, self-awareness, and essential life skills.
You will support students, faculty, and parents by providing guidance focused on character development, resiliency, and interpersonal life skills centered on Sequoyah's core values. We aim to create a sense of belonging where students are prepared to navigate the challenges of childhood and adolescence with confidence, curiosity, and resilience by openly exploring health topics that are directly relevant to their lives. This position offers the opportunity to be an active, engaged, and mission-aligned member of the Sequoyah community.
