- Louis.Job Summary Holy Redeemer Catholic School is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and faith-centered Classroom Aide to support teachers and students in a positive learning environment.
- The ideal candidate will assist with daily classroom activities, promote student engagement, and help integrate Catholic values into the school day.
- This individual will contribute to students’ academic success and support their social, emotional, and spiritual development.
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher with instructional activities and daily lesson implementation.
- Provide individual and small group support to students as directed by the teacher.
- Help maintain a structured, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support classroom management and reinforce positive behavior expectations.
- Prepare instructional materials and assist with classroom organization.
- Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities.
- Assist students with assignments and reinforce learning concepts.
- Communicate effectively with teachers and staff regarding student needs and progress.
- Integrate and model Catholic values in interactions with students.
- Participate in school activities and meetings as appropriate.
- Support students’ social, emotional, and spiritual development.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to Catholic education and values.
- Practicing Catholic preferred (depending on school requirements).
