The role involves supporting classroom communities and after-school care for children aged 15 months to 12 years. Responsibilities include assisting Lead Guides in maintaining a safe Montessori environment and ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of students.
A bachelor's degree and experience with early childhood students are preferred, with Montessori credentials (AMI, AMS, or MACTE) highly desired. Candidates should ideally have at least two years of teaching experience at the early childhood level.
The Montessori School of Raleigh (MSR) seeks an experienced Part-Time Permanent Substitute & After School Care Guide for the 2026–2027 school year beginning August 6, 2026. This ideal candidate will support classroom communities and after school care across age levels ranging from 15 months to 12 years old. The role requires flexibility in assisting Lead Guides and classroom teams in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate Montessori environment that fosters independence, curiosity, and respect for each child’s growth.
