• SchoolHouse Staffing is hiring a passionate, student-centered Math Teacher for one of our partner school districts in the East Valley.

• This is a full-time, on-site role in the Phoenix Metro area with competitive pay based on your experience and credentials.

• What You'll Do Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom where every student can succeed Deliver high-quality, standards-aligned math instruction using research-based best practices Develop lesson plans and materials that adapt curriculum to the needs of diverse learners Communicate clear learning goals in precise, student-friendly language Facilitate small- and large-group instruction that builds reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving Integrate technology to deepen understanding and boost engagement Use a variety of assessments to measure and accelerate student growth Use site, district, and state assessment data to drive instruction and placement decisions Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) with fidelity Communicate regularly with families to strengthen the home–school partnership Participate in team reviews and intervention planning for at-risk or struggling students Maintain accurate records, supervise students, and take part in school events and professional learning What You Bring Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred) from an accredited institution Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate in the appropriate content area Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card SEI Endorsement preferred Strong math content knowledge and a command of standards-aligned, inquiry-based instruction Ability to build trust, communicate with empathy, and maintain strong relationships Skill in creating structured, engaging, developmentally appropriate learning environments Commitment to inclusive practices and meeting diverse learner needs Emotional intelligence, patience, and calm leadership in a dynamic classroom A drive for continuous learning and professional growth Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience and credentials Additional pay recognized for verified years of experience and advanced degrees Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability (STD) Work Environment This role involves regular communication and movement around the classroom, including standing, walking, bending, sitting, and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds.
