The Nurse Extern will work under the direct supervision of an RN to provide patient care and utilize specialized plan-of-care interventions. They will serve as a patient-care innovator to improve patient wellbeing and journeys.
Candidates must be first-year students in an accredited nursing program with a minimum 3.0 GPA and knowledge of clinical terminology. Eligibility to sit for the Montana board of nursing exam upon graduation is required.
