Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools, helping them develop communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities. Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs. Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings. Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development. Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes. Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner. Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure and reside in California Passionate about working with K-12 students in a virtual setting Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting. Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Experience in teletherapy (preferred). Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology used in speech-language therapy (preferred).
