About the Role

As a Clinician I, you will have the opportunity to provide meaningful clinical support to underserved youth and families who are seeking hope, healing, and positive change.

This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about trauma-informed care, enjoys working with a multidisciplinary team, and wants to develop their skills while making a lasting impact on the lives of youth.

Compensation

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected starting salary for this Colorado position is: $59,291.62 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

What You’ll Do Collaborate with a team of dedicated, creative, and growth-oriented clinicians who value learning and professional development Provide individualized clinical services including individual, family, multi-family, and group therapy for youth with significant trauma, mental health, and behavioral health needs Support youth who may require offense-specific treatment services Manage a blended caseload, typically consisting of 7–9 youth Provide services primarily within Shiloh House residential treatment and/or day treatment programs, with occasional outpatient support provided in home or office settings Develop, implement, and maintain trauma-informed behavioral strategies to meet client needs Provide guidance and planning support to direct care staff when appropriate Collaborate with residential and education teams to create strengths-based environments where youth can thrive Complete clinical documentation including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, court reports, and other required documentation in accordance with licensing and accreditation standards Participate in case management activities by collaborating with families and external partners, including probation officers, case workers, district liaisons, Guardian ad Litems, and other community professionals Participate in Clinical On-Call rotation after completing orientation, training, and shadowing. Clinicians typically participate only 2–3 times per quarter and most on-call support is provided virtually through Shiloh House’s layered support system. What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is

Motivated, independent, creative, and innovative Strengths-based and trauma-informed in their approach Passionate about supporting youth with complex needs Comfortable working with highly acute populations while demonstrating empathy, patience, and resilience A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Professional when collaborating with internal teams and external partners Prior experience working in a high-acuity environment and/or with offense-specific youth is preferred; however, Shiloh House is committed to supporting clinicians who are early in their careers and eager to grow.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field from a CACREP-accredited program If the program is not CACREP-accredited, proof of completion of an educational equivalency review must be provided at the time of interview Must be eligible for provisional licensure through DORA if not already licensed Knowledge and skill in assessment, diagnosis, case conceptualization, and treatment planning Ability and willingness to collaborate with professionals outside of the agency Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain one with a clean motor vehicle record Ability to successfully complete required background screening in accordance with Colorado Department of Human Services regulations, including: State criminal background checks Fingerprinting Sex offender registry searches Abuse and neglect clearances Equivalent checks from other states if applicable based on residency history Completion of required health evaluation or physical prior to beginning employment to confirm fitness for duty to include a TB test. Travel throughout the Denver metro area may be required using a personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
