Home Visitor positions in New York are often tied to early childhood and family support programs, where demand can be steady in communities needing in-home outreach and parent engagement. These roles are competitive because employers usually look for dependable transportation, a high school diploma or GED, and experience working with families, while early childhood coursework or a Home Based CDA can strengthen an application.
