  • About Us: Strides Therapy & Educational Services is a leading local provider of contract therapy services dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of students in schools. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of professionals, working collaboratively to support students' communication and language development within educational settings. We are a therapist and woman-owned and operated company.

  • Details: This is an in-person position. Highly supportive and collaborative school district that values its team. Travel package and relocation support for candidates interested in moving to the area. Unique travel opportunity to experience and work in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Potential to transition into a traditional role if you enjoy the district and community.

Compensation: up to $65; travel stipend can be discussed for candidates who are willing to relocate

Responsibilities

Provide direct special education services to students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing in accordance with IEPs. Develop and implement individualized instructional plans that support language, communication, academic achievement, and self-advocacy. Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, speech-language pathologists, audiologists, interpreters, and related service providers. Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, eligibility meetings, and progress reviews. Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and classroom environments to ensure communication access. Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and complete required reports. Support students in the use of hearing technology and classroom accommodations. Provide consultation and training to school staff regarding strategies for supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and educational planning. Maintain compliance with district policies and federal and state special education regulations.
