Empower Students Through Communication SchoolHouse Staffing is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join one of our exceptional school district partners in Oak Lawn, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with each student's IEP goals. Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual, small-group, and classroom settings. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and families. Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and eligibility determinations. Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, progress reports, and compliance with all state and federal regulations. Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, pragmatic language, and augmentative communication needs. Promote communication strategies that enhance classroom participation and student success.
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement or eligibility to obtain licensure. Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License (if applicable). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are encouraged to apply if district requirements allow. Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
