School-Based Program Site - Thornton Central Elementary School, Thornton, NH
Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership
Monday-Friday: 2:45PM-5PM We are looking for candidates who are available to work the full schedule all five days of the week. We cannot accommodate partial shifts at this time
Pay: $20-24/hour, Based on experience and region
Position Overview Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? As a Resilience Coach, you will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive. This is an active, hands-on role that combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support. We are looking for positive, energetic team members who enjoy working with school-age children and creating meaningful connections every day.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred. State Requirements: Candidates must be 18 years old or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet one of the following requirements: At least 600 hours of experience working with school aged children At least 3 credits in child development, education, recreation or related coursework from an accredited college/university Documentation of being a certified coach Documentation of 5 years of parenting experience Documentation from the state indicating eligibility to be a group leader in a school aged program Physical Requirements Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
