Universal Pre-K Teacher

The teacher is responsible for the general supervision and management of one classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing, stimulating, and educational environment for children to foster social, physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Key duties include planning and implementing age-Appropriate programs, interacting positively with children, developing parent relationships, and supervising assistant teachers.

Candidates must meet physical requirements such as lifting 30 pounds and crouching, and possess new york state registry clearance and criminal history fingerprint clearance. Required qualifications include nys teaching certification (Birth-2) or a bachelor’s degree with 6 ece credit hours or 6 months of relevant experience with a commitment to obtain certification within three years.
