BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN- Parsippany Learning Center M-F Afterschool

The behavior technician is responsible for implementing individualized applied behavior analysis (Aba) programs for children with autism spectrum disorder (Asd) and other developmental disabilities under the direct supervision of a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba). Key duties include delivering 1:1 aba therapy, recording accurate progress data, implementing skill acquisition programs, and following behavior reduction protocols.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Rbt certification is preferred but must be obtained within 90 days if applicable, and candidates must pass background checks and be able to perform physical tasks like lifting up to 30 pounds.
