The Activity Specialist will focus on developing students' technical soccer skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and overall physical fitness through structured physical activity. Responsibilities also include supervising participants, maintaining clean activity spaces, creating age-appropriate lessons, and handling administrative duties like parent follow-up calls.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma (College Degree preferred) and have 3+ years of experience playing, coaching, or training in soccer, including experience devising practice plans. Successful candidates must also pass required background checks, physical exams, and demonstrate strong professionalism and communication skills.

SALARY: $25/hour
DATES: February 2026 – April 2026
As part of our Youth Services Department’s vision, all Youth Services Staff will assist in promoting growth, leadership, and positive self-image in all young people at all of our Grand Street Settlement sites. Our Activity Specialists will assist in the day-to-day functioning of the program and ensure that youth are learning and building hard skills. Specifically, the Soccer Trainer will focus on developing students' technical soccer skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and overall physical fitness through structured physical activity.
