Head Start and Early Head Start Substitute

The substitute will assist classroom staff by maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment while supporting the implementation of classroom activities and lesson plans. Duties also include promoting positive child interactions and assisting with daily routines and caregiving tasks for the children.

A minimum requirement is a high school diploma with the commitment to complete a child development associate (Cda) credential within two years of hiring. Preferred qualifications include a cda or bachelor's degree in early childhood education, along with two years of direct experience working with at-Risk populations or in head start programs.
