Inclusion Helper - Jarrettsville Elementary School

The inclusion helper provides support and assistance to students with severe disabilities during instruction, including modifications and accommodations to facilitate independence in the least restrictive environment. Responsibilities also involve assisting students with assignments, monitoring behavior, implementing intervention plans, and providing assistance with personal care needs such as lifting and feeding.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or the minimum educational standard established by federal legislation, along with strong verbal and interpersonal skills. Applicants must also meet physical requirements, including the ability to lift and transfer students weighing up to 40 pounds, and experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
