Teacher - Head Start - Edgewood

The head start teacher is responsible for developing and implementing individual education plans to foster social, intellectual, physical, and emotional development in preschool children. This includes implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, assessing children, and maintaining a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, elementary education, or a related field, along with knowledge of early childhood development principles and strong classroom management skills. At least one year of early childhood classroom teaching experience is preferred, and passing a criminal background check is mandatory.
