Teaching Assistance

The teaching assistant ensures a safe, positive, and therapeutic learning environment by supervising students, managing crises, and implementing individualized treatment plans and individualized education programs. Responsibilities include providing educational support, monitoring behavior, preparing schedules, administering medications, and operating company vehicles.

A bachelor's degree is required for this position, preferably with education or experience in a behavioral field working with similar youth populations. Preferred qualifications include holding or being able to obtain a sub-Credential, and competency in specific crisis intervention and behavior management techniques.
