Plummer’s Community Treatment Residential and Youth and Young Adult Group Residence Program is seeking compassionate Residential Counselors to join our team. In this role, you’ll supervise and engage residents, support their treatment goals, and help create a safe, nurturing environment. Available shifts:
  • Monday through Friday 3-11pm
  • Tuesday through Saturday 3-11pm
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 11pm-7am

What You’ll Do

  • Provide direct supervision and guidance for residents
  • Engage youth through the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) Model and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI)
  • Support daily life skills, meals, chores, transportation, and activities
  • Document progress and communicate with the treatment team
  • Attend trainings, meetings, and professional development opportunities

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, experience with youth a plus

Requirements

  • Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and acceptable driving history
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs, bend, reach, and lift up to 75 pounds
  • Visual and hearing acuity to perform essential job functions
