Early Learning Floating Teacher - Salem YMCA

The floating teacher will support lead teachers and directors by creating fun, developmentally appropriate activities, and helping maintain a warm, safe, and welcoming learning environment for children. Responsibilities also include assisting with daily classroom organization, cleanliness, accurate record keeping, and positive communication with parents.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and meet teacher qualifications set by the massachusetts department of early education and care (Eec). Required qualifications include understanding child development, maintaining current infant/Child cpr and first aid certifications, and completing all mandated training.
