Head Start Family Advocate

This role is responsible for outreach, recruitment, enrollment, and case management within the head start and early head start programs, working directly with families to set and achieve future goals. Key duties include providing direct support services, making referrals, conducting home visits, and ensuring compliance with head start performance standards and regulations.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma/Ged and a credential or certification in social, human, or family services, with experience working with low-Income families and crisis intervention being beneficial. Required abilities include demonstrating compassion for low-Income populations, sensitivity to ada/Section 504, and the capacity to pass necessary background checks and obtain specific certifications like first aid/Cpr.
